Infrastructure Engineer (Infrastructure, VMware, Windows, O365, Active Directory, AD, InTune, Firewalls, Server) Permanent Pontefract
Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis for a fast growing invoative business based in Pontefract.
Location: Pontefract
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Skills/Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer:
Previous experience within a similar role
Strong O365 and Active Directory experience
Virtualization experience, ideally VMware, however Hyper-V would also be good
Mobile device management using Intune
Strong networking skills around LAN, WAN and VLAN
Extensive Windows Server experience
Start date is ASAP for the Infrastructure Engineer
The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:
Supporting, maintaining and installing IT Infrastructure including both hardware and software
Being the 2nd line escalation point for the service desk team
Recording incidents, problems, and changes brought up by users, including the resolutions
Creating and maintaining documentation on process
Reporting on the service performance to senior leaders within the business
Supporting the planning and implementation of new Infrastructure systems
Adhering to strict SLAs on projects and ticket requests
Analysing usr requirements to ensure the hardware and software meet or exceed current staff expectations
Auditing both software and hardware when needed to confirm the correct inventory within the business and ordering new equipment when needed
