Method Resourcing have partnered exclusively with a business looking for an experienced hire to work across their traditional IT estate. This is a multi-site organisation with need for someone to take responsibility for the efficient running of their desktop, network and application estate.
You will have experience of the following.
Administration and maintenance of Microsoft technology - O365, MS Windows Server
Administration and low-level configuration of enterprise networking technology - LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Cisco
Backup/ Disaster recover processes
Vendor management of third parties providing 2nd/3rd line support across network infrastructure
New technology research and implementation for the improvement of operations
This is a role that will largely rely on soft skills, and stakeholder management that is built upon a strong technical understanding of managing the IT estate. It is not a hands-on role by nature but will require 1st line support experience as you will be the point of contact for any issues.
