IT Support Technician


My client is looking for an IT Support Technician to join their technical team on a full-time permanent basis in Oldham. They are passionate about technology and dedicated to providing innovative solutions that drive business success. Reporting directly into the IT Manager, you’ll get first class training from an experienced IT professional.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to end users via phone, email, and in person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365, Azure, Intune, D365, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Manage and maintain client IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of Office 365 and Azure environments.
  • Support mobile device management through Intune.
  • Handle D365 support requests and perform basic configurations.
  • Monitor and manage security incidents using Microsoft Defender.
  • Document technical procedures and issue resolutions in the company’s knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive support and share knowledge.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar IT support role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Office 365, Azure, Intune, D365, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus.
  • A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest technologies.
