Job Description
Understanding Recruitment are seeking a skilled IT Technician to work within a schools setting. Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting to staff and students.
Skills required for the IT Technician role:
Experience providing support for LAN, WAN, server and other centrally managed infrastructure issues
Exposure to the use of Office 365 and Azure
Experience working with Antivirus, software updates/patches to ensure that the network is up to date and secure
Ensuring software or locally used cloud based systems are licensed appropriately
Previous experience carrying out risk assessments for Health and Safety for IT to ensure safety standards are met
Confidence to know when to escalate certain issues to the 2nd line technicians
Location: Oxford (Based on Site)
Salary: £27,000 - £29,500 per annum plus benefits
