Job Description

IT Technology Project Specialist.

Our client, a leading procurement company based on the outskirts of Norwich, are currently seeking a Technology Project Specialist to join their team on a full-time permanent basis working 37.5 hours a week Monday Friday paying £28,000 per annum.

Do you have?
Relevant IT, business management or project management qualification or experience in a similar role.
Motivation and drive and are happy working solo or as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail, together with a 'can-do' attitude.

You will be a key part of the Technology team, delivering innovative and industry leading applications. You will act as the voice of our external stakeholders and help to ensure the software we develop meets the needs of our Members and other end users. You will understand agriculture and rural businesses and be passionate about providing solutions to the challenges they face.

Duties & Responsibilities
Participate in the formulation, development and implementation of our external facing applications.
Become the expert in our external facing applications, acting as the first point of contact with all end users.
Provide support to end users by phone, email, virtually and face to face.
Basic system administration, such as setting up users and resetting passwords.
Develop an in-depth understanding of our end users and their business processes.
Facilitate these sessions to elicit key insights and requirements.
Document and analyse the requirements and insights gained from these sessions and report back to the team and wider business.
Form a group of beta testers, maintaining regular communication regarding new features, collating and analysing feedback.
Work closely with the wider team to ensure they fully understand end user needs and requirements.
Assist in troubleshooting issues and bugs, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and escalating as necessary.
Assist with the development of wireframes and visual guides.
Assist with translating end user requirements into development tickets.
Assist with prioritisation of requirements.
Assist with internal testing, to ensure end user requirements have been met.
Assist in producing documentation and content in various forms to aid users and encourage adoption.
Work closely with the wider business to ensure improvements and new features are internally and externally communicated.
Work proactively to promote our applications, encourage end user adoption and to achieve and maintain agreed levels of engagement with our applications.
Assist with team project administration and project management tasks.
Seek to expand your own knowledge and the knowledge of team members.
Ability to work outside of usual office hours as and when required. You may also be asked to represent the company outside of the office.
