J3292 - New Leaf Search has partnered with European organisation providing business to business lease finance for digital services in its search for a Structured Finance Investment Director. You will have the remit of to grow leasing businesses through innovative offers, originating and structuring profitable deals, monitoring the risk and proactively managing its positions to minimize the impact on the company's balance sheet through refinancing and deconsolidation.
Salary: £90,000 - £120,000+ with uncapped bonus and excellent benefits. Location: UK, London (Hybrid)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key responsibilities include deal origination, structuring and credit and portfolio quality.
Direct approach with financial advisors to develop a network and generate leads.
Support to the sales force in place.
Identifying the “right” clients for there type of transactions (target of companies, need for financial diversification, etc.)
Structure tailor made transactions
Analyse financials and risk profile of deals.
Analyse the strategic nature of the assets.
Write investment memos and defend the case to Investment Committee.
Alerting management on the credit risk evolution of client and suggesting mitigants and/or remedies to senior team when needed.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Reputed Business school – Financial Background.
8 to 12 years’ experience in corporate banks with credit experience, or within a specialised finance team, or with a private debt fund.
Origination experience in the ABL business needed as well as capacity to leverage on existing client/prospect contacts.
Ability to transact at COO, CFO and CEOs.
International experience preferred.
Additional language preferred, especially French.
