Main Duties


PURPLE is actively seeking a bright and enthusiastic Public Relations Account Executive to join its Arts & Culture Division in the agency’s London office, working across high-profile clients to support with the implementation of annual communications strategies. The Junior Account Executive will play an essential role in supporting the clients and the team in generating maximum brand exposure. The right candidate must have a genuine interest for communications; be organized, driven and creative. Strong written communication skills are an essential.



Main Duties:

PURPLE is actively seeking a bright and enthusiastic Public Relations Junior / Account Executive to join the Design, Arts & Culture team within the Lifestyle Division in the agency’s London office.


The Junior / Account Executive will play an essential role in supporting the team to execute integrated communication campaigns and generate maximum exposure for clients.


The right candidate must have a genuine interest in Design, Arts and Culture as well as

communications more generally. Being organised, driven, proactive and enthusiastic are a must along with strong written communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • ongoing administrative support as requested by the team, such as call agendas and meeting notes, monthly reports and ongoing updates to the media database
  • in brainstorms for creative ideas and publicity strategies to enhance PR campaigns showing proactive willingness to go beyond the role of traditional press office
  • and maintain regular day-to-day contact and close relationships with key press
  • media placement in appropriate titles, handling product and image call-ins, sample requests and compiling and managing mass mailers
  • with preparation and be present as needed at client events
  • coverage across online and print publications and social and leverage added value from all PR activity
  • research on brands, products and industry to support the development of client plans and new business proposals
  • for media coverage on a daily basis and promptly clip to send to clients


Skills and Experience:

  • passion for design, art, culture and wider lifestyle
  • understanding and ongoing interest in media relations and strategy
  • communicator with an eagerness to grow and lean

  • to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines. Excellent prioritising and time management skills

  • skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Doc and Canva (desired but not essential)
