We are newly relocated to Wandsworth for easier access into different locations in London. The majority of our projects are based in London but we do travel out of London and abroad from time to time.


Your Role


We are looking for an enthusiastic, industry-committed junior engineer to join our fast-growing AV installation company. We want to further the skills set of a Junior AV engineer with the intention of them becoming a senior engineer, and in time can allow them to specialise in a key area of AV such as control system programming. 


You must be able to work as part of a team and independently occasionally, manage multiple tasks, and have great attention to detail.

Responsibilities and Duties -

  • Audio Visual & Control System installation in room and externally
  • 2nd fix socket termination
  • 2nd fix entry handsets, testing and certification, brackets, wall mounts and fixings, TV installation
  • Speaker installation
  • Basic knowledge in Networking & HDMI distribution and Audio systems
  • Good at fault finding. Methodical and logical in their approach to finding and implementing a successful resolution
  • Blind termination and installation
  • Wifi access point installation
  • Local head-end termination and cable management
  • Rack building and cabling termination
  • installation of any automated lifts and motivated bracket
  • Installation of CCTV cameras
  • Cable testing (Continuity and Gigabit tester)
  • Able to terminate network cabling (category standard) / video cabling (Cat6)

Info -

Candidates should ideally be able to relate to the following

  • The Minimum 6 months of experience in the AV industry
  • Should be polite and well-mannered
  • Strong understanding of first and second-fix AV installations.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to diagnose logical problems

Tools and Training

  • Basic engineering tools to be provided
  • Basic testing tools to be provided
  • Fluke testing tools to be provided during testing
  • Ongoing training to be provided
  • Product info yearly product info training


In Return:

The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience, in addition to 21 days' annual leave, bank holidays, and paid expenses. Overtime rates are also available at time and a half for weekend work.
