Your New Role:
You’ll be working for a global growing and exciting FMCG business based in London. The produce high quality products and pride themselves of being the best in the business!
This role will be focusing within the packaging arm of the business.
You’ll be responsible for negotiating prices with suppliers, ensure costs are managed and achieve budgets for globally recognised brand. The majority of the role will be based around Purchasing. However, you will be working closely with the wide supply chain management team, suppliers, distributors and be providing support to all external and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the search of qualified suppliers across several packaging categories
- Negotiate with vendors/factories to meet the brands cost and quality requirements
- Place and progress purchase orders and buying contracts
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are raised and delivered as per requirements
- Work closely with the wider supply chain team to achieve the brands goals
Could This Be You?
- At least 1-2 years’ relevant supply chain, procurement or buying experience
- Proven ability to achieve the best cost prices in correlation with budgets and corporate objective
- Great level of stakeholder management & the ability to influence at a senior level.
Salary up to £35K + bonus
