Junior Data Engineer - Azure
£30,000 – £40,000 (DOE)
Manchester city centre location – flexible hybrid working options

We are currently partnered with a highly successful Manchester based SaaS business who have recently received over £4 million in funding to help them continue their upward trajectory. They are looking for a Junior Data Engineer who will get the chance to work on brand new projects using Version 3 of Microsoft Fabric.
As a Junior Data Engineer, you will work closely with a Senior Data Engineer, the development team, legacy data administrator and the support engineers to help the business get the most out of their data.
What they are looking for...
- You have at least 1 years experience working within Azure Data Stack
- Experience or exposure with some of the following - Python / Spark / Data Lakes / SQL
- Desire to learn and develop within the newest tech stack
- Outstanding communication skills

What you'll be doing...
- Developing high quality code for the core data stack including the data integration hub, data warehouse and data pipelines.
- Building data flows for data acquisition, aggregation, and modelling.
- Supporting and optimising data tools and associated cloud environments for consumption by downstream systems, data analysts and data scientists.
- Empowering data scientists and data analysts to be as self-sufficient as possible by building core systems and developing reusable library code.
This will be a two-stage interview process, candidates will work hybrid with an expectation to come to the office twice a month in Manchester. Candidates will also require full right to work in the UK, without sponsorship or restrictions.
