A lovely opportunity has arisen to join my client who are looking for a commercial junior designer to work across multiproduct of ladies and childrenswear jersey and some woven nightwear . My client is a well-respected supplier of ladies, men's and childrenswear . If you have previous supplier experience designing for Primark and have dealt with factories in India and want your next step in your career, then this opportunity is not to be missed This is a Central London Based role offering 1 day working from home, and great career growth and opportunity
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting on the design of womenswear and or childrenswear fashion ranges to present to Primark
- To produce detailed technical packs for accurate first-time samples.
- Carry out trend research and analysis alongside colour trends.
- Identify and understand clients brand identity and handwriting when designing and range building
- Liaise with overseas factories
- Attend client meetings when required .
Person Requirements:
- Be able to do Trend and Mood boards, CAD's, Mock-ups, and detailed Tech-packs.
- Must have previous design experience working with Primark across Jersey
- Must have experience dealing with factories in India
- Communicate with and present to customers as and when needed.
- Do regular comp and inspirational shopping.
- Knowledge of licencing is beneficial not essential
- Have experience in a fast-paced environment
