Position: Junior Finance Business Partner

Location: National homebased OR can be based in offices in London or Peterborough

Salary: £34,393 per annum

Vacancy type: Full time 37.5 hours per week, permanent

About the role:

We have a fantastic and rewarding opportunity for a Finance professional to join the team as a Finance Business Partner (FBP) on a permanent contract. The role will be supporting specific regions within the South of England.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with both finance colleagues and operational staff. An individual who is well organised, can prioritise their workload and has the ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working to meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will work with management to help deliver strong financial performance across the regions they support and provide timely and accurate financial information to a variety of stakeholders across the organisation.

As a flexible employer both full-time and part-time applications will be considered. There is flexibility over where this role is based. It is a national role but many of the functions supported have a presence in London and/or Peterborough. Either London, Peterborough or another local office as the contractual base will be considered if available, or the role may be home based if there is no office available within a reasonable distance.

About you:

To be successful as the Finance Business Partner you will be expected to have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to convey financial information to non-finance staff and senior management.
  • A desire to drive improvements in financial understanding & accountability to deliver a first class commercial and customer focused service.
  • Strong collaboration skills including the confidence to challenge others.
  • Ability to interpret a range of financial/operational information and reach quick judgements.
  • Experienced in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Appropriate planning, organising and strategic business planning skills.
  • An ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification or hold a similar and relevant qualification.
