We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer with a passion for Type and Design to work on an exciting range of food service brands.
In this primarily print-based role, you will be working on multiple page documents; brochures, magazines and leaflets as well as maintaining our digital presence and social media profiles across our brands, with a small element of Social Media content creation.
Role Essentials
- Collaborate with the current graphic designer and design/brand manager to support increased workflow from sister companies, primarily focusing on print projects such as brochures, magazines, leaflets, and maintaining digital presence including social media content creation.
- Creating visually appealing and effective multi-page documents adhering to established corporate guidelines.
- Utilize expertise in typography to craft engaging and legible text-based designs, with a focus in typography within the portfolio.
- Articulating creative concepts effectively and interact professionally with internal stakeholders.
- Follow detailed instructions while also exercising creative autonomy when required, demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manage time effectively to meet strict deadlines and maintain a press/print schedule, taking ownership of tasks and demonstrating initiative in problem-solving.
- Stay updated on technical requirements for graphics across multiple social media platforms, contributing to marketing efforts and expanding auxiliary skill sets as needed.
- Undertake any additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the in-house design studio.
Who we’re looking for
- Experience in a similar role or relevant qualification in graphic design (ideally with an interest in branding and advertising)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud core programs, particularly Adobe InDesign.
- Typography-focused portfolio (our work is heavily text-based)
- Love for working with Type
- Experience working with multiple-page documents.
- Interest in food, food styling, cooking or bakery (advantageous, but not essential)
