Job Description
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
- Demonstrate strong professional credibility and build ongoing relationships as a trusted advisor with managers and leaders.
- Drive core people processes. Manage and provide advice and recommendations on all people-related issues.
- Coach, challenge, and influence leaders & managers to develop leadership and team capability.
- Put forward suggestions for and implement end-to-end organisational change that will improve overall business performance and ensure our teams are as effective as they can be, as well as being future-ready.
- Work closely with the relevant HRD, HR Manager, and Executives to define, deliver, and measure culture and engagement initiatives across Operations.
- Manage the recruitment process, from developing job descriptions to facilitating interviews.
- Organise and deliver HR-related training programs.
- Oversee employee relations, including complex conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Support the development of performance management systems.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior HR Business Partner should have:
- CIPD/degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
- A solution-focused approach to conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in HR management systems.
- A proactive approach to employee engagement and staff development.
- Proven ability to plan and implement projects/initiatives.
- Analytical skills; quickly evaluates data/situations and reaches conclusions.
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills.
- Ability to work with appropriate attention to detail and high standards, whilst still working at pace.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering organisation would be highly desirable.
