Job Description
We are now looking to recruit a Junior Investment Analyst to join our AJ Bell Investments Team. The purpose of the role is to support the Fund Manager in the design, manufacture, monitoring and maintenance of AJBAM Partnership Portfolios.
What does the job involve?
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Support the fund manager in the maintenance of AJ Bell partnership managed portfolios across the following areas:
- Product governance and monitoring
- Strategic and tactical asset allocation framework and implementation
- Working with Research team to devise appropriate portfolio implementation strategies.
- Development and production of investment management MI
- Provide reports (and attendance where appropriate) at departmental committees.
- Portfolio Implementation
- Engage with other areas of the business to support the growth of both AJ Bell Investments and the wider business and ensure portfolio updates are communicated to investors.
- Supporting and enabling the business to achieve its regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Educated to bachelor’s degree level or the equivalent.
- Working towards further qualifications or the willingness to do so
- Excellent Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong Quantitative Skills
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Advanced Report Writing Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
