Junior IT engineer
Mainstay is currently looking for a junior IT engineer to join a small but dynamic team at a managed service provider. As a Junior IT engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to clients and resolving their IT issues efficiently and effectively. As a Junior IT engineer , you will respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely and professional manner. You will also troubleshoot and resolve IT-relatedissues and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
The successful Junior IT engineer will have the following:
6 month+of experience in a technical support role or comes from an IT apprenticeship background
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and network troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MCP/MCSA/MCSE are a plus.
