Alexander McQueen is a British luxury fashion house founded by Lee Alexander McQueen in 1992. In 2001, the house joined the Kering Group and, since December 2023, is under the creative direction of Seán McGirr. The IT Product Developer will join the Decision Intelligence team and will be working alongside Data Scientists and other developers to build Web based analytical tools to be used internally by the business.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen interest and talent in Software Development to develop their skills whilst deploying exciting technology at scale. You will have the chance to get involved many different projects working across several different business functions including -

Required Skills:

  • You will be able to demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours
  • Experience with HTML/Sass, JavaScript and Typescript
  • Experience with React/Node.Js
  • Understanding of state management (experience with Redux is a plus)
  • An interest in Cloud Computing Environments (Eg. AWS)
  • Experience with SQL Databases (Eg. Postgres)
  • Interest in learning other programming languages and new technologies
  • An understanding of API’s/Web Servers (Eg. Express)
  • Understanding of Unit testing / e2e tests (TDD/BDD)
  • Motivated & eager to learn, discover and develop new skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Motivation and dedication
  • Interest in the fashion industry
