Junior IT Project Engineer - Managed IT & Cloud Services - London
Salary: £45,000 (D.O.E)
Training: Market Leading Training Programme & Accreditations (Microsoft, Cisco, etc)
We are a looking for a talented Junior IT Project Engineer to join our client's team in the Managed IT & Cloud Services industry. This role is based in London and offers a salary of up to £45,000.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working on innovative projects to help our client provide first-class service to their customers. You will be required to collaborate with the team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop, maintain and implement project plans
Analyse and resolve technical issues
Identify and manage risks and changes
Provide regular reporting on project progress
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Develop high-quality project documentation
Monitor and review project performance
Identify, recommend and implement process improvements
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
Provide technical and customer support
Coordinate with third-party vendors
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of IT security, compliance and privacy regulations.
Knowledge of Exchange and Office 365
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (AWS would be desirable)
Knowledge of Intune or Autopilot
Knowledge of virtualisation technologies - VMware or Hyper V
Knowledge relating to Windows Server
Knowledge of networking infrastructure - Switches, APs, Routers, Firewalls, VPNs, VLANs
Knowledge of scripting - PowerShell or BASH
Person Specification:
Fundamental knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
