As a highly-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced work environment, you will continue to enhance our strong, collaborative relationship with clients and partners globally, and build effective relationships with members of the Sales, Operations, and Tax teams.
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will work directly with key members of the global business, and legal teams around the world on a variety of cutting edge projects..
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law; JD or equivalent required..
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience (post graduation) practicing law in a commercial/legal environment, preferably with a global context.
- Strong proficiency in English, with exceptional speaking and drafting skills. Proficiency in any additional language(s) - German or French - is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment, demonstrating sensitivity to different cultural norms and practices.
- Proven track record of drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Technology background with a demonstrated understanding of how technology intersects with commercial law, including familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of commercial law, contract law, intellectual property law, and some background in regulatory compliance areas such as international sanctions and personal data protection.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Develop and maintain close relationships with business leaders by cultivating a deep understanding of their business and providing proactive, solution-oriented advice.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confident at engaging and interacting with sophisticated stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Demonstrate the ability, in a positive, commercial and practical manner, to identify, prioritize and resolve legal issues quickly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for business purposes.
