Linux Software Engineer - Open Source
We're currently hiring for an expanding engineering company that focuses on optimizing open source software and I'm looking for a Linux Software Engineer.
The company are expanding and we're hiring 8-10 more engineers before the end of the year.
The positions are full time and 100% remote and are either 12 month contract positions if based outside the UK, potential to extend, or they can be permanent roles based in the UK but must have right to work wherever you are based. Contract is preference but they are open to discuss.
For this Linux Software Engineer position, I'm interested in speaking to people with the following:
- Degree in Computer Science or similar
- 1-3 years experience with linux kernel development, knowledge of linux OS architectures
- Experience and passion with open source projects
- Knowledge of Linux systems development suc has build processes, toolchains etc
- Linux OS image creation and configuration experience
