The role:

We’re looking for a Junior Marketing Associate to support our team in events and social media outreach, the role is a temp, 4-month contract.

Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

Events:

  • Work with the Developer advocate to develop a calendar of Tyk-owned/hosted events
  • Plan and execute Tyk-owned/hosted events
  • Coordinate attendance at major industry conferences globally
  • Organise and manage regional meetups
  • Handle logistics, budgeting, and vendor relationships
  • Order swag and other assets needed for conferences or events
  • Measure event success and report on key metrics
  • Liaise with the sales team to manage post-event follow-up and outreach

Social Media:

  • Develop and maintain a social media calendar aligned with the content strategy
  • Create and schedule engaging content across various platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions
  • Analyse social media performance and suggest improvements

General Marketing Support:

  • Assist with marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • HubSpot operational support including event setup and execution
  • Contribute to content creation for various channels
  • Liaising with the sales team to support on sales/commercial initiatives

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in marketing, with a focus on events and social media
  • Demonstrated experience in event management, including coordinating attendance at large industry conferences
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
