A fantastic opportunity for an established Junior Merchandiser, or highly experienced Assistant Merchandiser, to have ownership of their own product areas!
If you are looking to further your career in merchandising we have a wonderful opportunity available to join us as a Junior Merchandiser on a 12 month FTC within our Watches and Branded Jewellery team.

As a Junior Merchandiser you report directly into the Senior Merchandise Manager to plan, control and monitor the purchase, intake and distribution of merchandise to maximise sales and gross profit for the H. Samuel and Ernest Jones Watches and Branded Jewellery businesses.
To succeed in the role, you will be able to:
- Identify opportunities to improve sales.
- Manage margin rate effectively and make trading decisions to ensure margin rate targets are achieved.
- Partner with Buying Team colleagues on all aspects of range planning.
- Manage the ordering / forecasting for H. Samuel and Ernest Jones Watches and Branded Jewellery team.
- Report on weekly sales, stock and intake data.
- Manage and develop 1 direct report.
