Position Requirements:


Relevant Experience: While extensive experience is not a prerequisite, we are seeking individuals with the ability to effectively manage multiple pieces of information simultaneously. Experience in heavy machinery maintenance on construction projects, particularly in ground engineering, is advantageous.

Tech-Savvy: Fully conversant with the Microsoft Office package, showcasing your proficiency in handling administrative responsibilities with ease.

Relevant Degree: Hold a degree in mechanic or electric engineering, providing you with the knowledge base to excel in this role.

Driving License: A valid driving license is essential to facilitate regular site visits and ensure effective fleet management.

Specific Duties:

At Tender Stage:

  • Assist business development teams with equipment-related technical queries, including equipment requirements, alternative options, and modifications.
  • Maintain an updated schedule of fleet requirements to anticipate future needs.

During Project Execution:

  • Monitor the procurement process of machinery and components, ensuring an efficient workflow from order placement to delivery.
  • Oversee internal equipment rentals for UK projects, tracking utilization in the company's database.
  • Visit job sites regularly to understand VSL's equipment and ground engineering techniques.
  • Support project teams on equipment needs, including spare parts procurement and arranging technical assistance.
  • Record intervention history in the Computerized Material Management System (CMMS).

As Part of the Plant Development Team:

  • Assist the Plant Manager in preparing investments for major projects.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures to structure and improve existing processes.
  • Act as a liaison between OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and VSL's Digital team to support the Group's digitalization strategy.
