Job Description
We are looking for a bright and analytical junior candidate to join the strategy team of an international asset manager.
This is a very broad role, so could fit candidates from a range of backgrounds, however corporate strategy exposure is essential. What we are looking for is a person who has made a real impact to a business, has strong analytical skills, with the communication to influence key decision makers across the firm.
Day to day your role will involve:
- Collaborating with Senior Management to develop, evolve and challenge strategy
- Ensure effective risk management and control implementation
- Data and analytical skills – for example, scenario planning and SWOT analysis.
- Exposure to, and enthusiasm for Sustainability and driving change will be key.
- Board reporting, management Information and monitoring metrics and targets in line with best practice.
- Market Intelligence
- Close relations with the Business Development and Marketing teams
The successful candidate will have:
- Corporate strategy experience (at least 1 year)
- Exposure to/experience of Investment Management is essential
- Demonstrable interest in ESG and sustainability
- Strong communication and relationship building experience.
- Data and analytical skills, SWOT analysis and scenario planning experience
- Financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting experience
- Change management experience useful
