Position: Key Accounts Manager



The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Overall Purpose: Our client is the leading garage equipment company in the UK looking to recruit the role of Key Accounts Manager within their growing management department


Location: Office-based in Hebden Bridge, 5 day week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm


Role and Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of the customer and provide solutions to problems
  • Follow up enquiries and organise any necessary customer appointments
  • Regularly provide customer key performance indicators/metrics
  • Suggest further proposition improvements based on the needs of the customer and help increase customer loyalty
  • Identify and raise any potential leads/opportunities for growth
  • Manage any relevant tender applications through to completion
  • Liaise with relevant key stakeholders to assist in the resolution of customer escalations
  • Ensure all customer complaints relating to service support functions are resolved and completed in a timely manner
  • Manage customer performance indicators/metrics

Skill, Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a Service delivery function
  • Good working knowledge and experience of garage equipment and related services preferred, but not essential as training/support provided
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent levels of communication, dealing with colleagues and customers at all levels
  • Positive “can do” attitude towards customer problem solving
  • Honest and transparent
  • Financial awareness
  • IT literacy
