As we expand our reach in the EMEA region, we seek a proactive and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our ambitious sales team.

Position Overview:

The Key Account Manager will report directly to the VP of Sales for EMEA and will be responsible for nurturing and growing our portfolio of key clients. This role is critical in driving Paybyrd’s revenue growth and expanding our market presence across the region. The ideal candidate will be skilled in building deep client relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to manage and grow accounts from our existing client base.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top tier client accounts with responsibility for retention and growth.
  • Ensure clients receive superior service and support through cross-functional coordination with marketing, sales support, and product development teams.
  • Understand client needs and identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Lead negotiations of contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Regularly report on account status, including significant changes, feedback, and updates on quarterly forecasts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
  • Participate in client and industry events as a representative of Paybyrd.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • The ideal candidate has experience working at one of the top 50 merchant acquirers in Europe.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field.
