In order to support our growing business in the UK, we are looking for new Key Account Manager to focus on the London region.

Your challenges

You will be responsible for the nurturing and maintaining positive relationships with our professional partners and working with key stakeholders to grow and develop sales through our Key Accounts. You will primarily work with dealers and merchants, influencing them to see VELUX as a first choice solution for their customers.

In addition, you will:

  • Work alongside the National Key Accounts team and London field sales team and be responsible for the relationship and management of all the relevant stakeholders and branches within a pre-defined customer ledger of key dealers to VELUX.

  • Support our partners, understanding their goals, and creating and identifying business opportunities to assist them achieve their goals.

  • Develop and maintain win/win relationships with our partners providing good sales support and advice

  • Work with your Sales Colleagues and Customers to create and deliver specific Account Plans that reflect market conditions & insight, customer strategy and VELUX objectivess.

This position is home-based with regular travel across London. Ideally, you should live within London, or if you can consistently commute 3-4 days a week throughout the area then we encourage you to apply. You should expect to travel regularly within the region to meet with our customers and partners.

Your qualifications

With your advanced problem-solving skills, you enjoy exploring new possibilities and working with a variety of stakeholders. You are a great communicator with effective presentation skills. You are inspiring and have an ability to organize priorities. You have an analytical mindset and can draw insights from market trends.

Moreover, we expect that you:

  • Bring Sales experience from an Field Sales role, perhaps (but not required) from the construction industry

  • Are experienced working directly with B2B partners

  • Have solid IT-skills and experience in using the Microsoft office package and CRM-systems

To be effective in this role, you will need to be:

  • Collaborative with a customer-oriented approach

  • Are a good presenter and communicator

  • Are motivated by performance and achievement of goals

  • Have analytical skills and be able to work in a structured and organized manner in order to deliver results to tight deadlines

  • Are an influential negotiator and salesperson
