Job Description

Your mission will be to drive customer base expansion through up-sell, cross-sell, and contract negotiation. You will be building relationships with key decision makers of our largest customers and be in charge of identifying new commercial opportunities and drive all commercial discussion within your portfolio of customers.

What you will do:
  • You will own a dedicated portfolio of Strategic Customers with the responsibility of developing it through strategic territory plans outlining opportunities for upsell and cross-sell
  • You will develop advanced knowledge of your customers' businesses and goals while accurately forecasting sales pipeline
  • You will be responsible, for those customers, for the entire sales cycle from account mapping to closing : Account Mapping > Building strong relationship > Qualification > Discovery > Technical Validation > Commercial proposal > Signature
  • You will work with current customers to understand their business pains, and provide solutions based on our platform to alleviate them
  • You will develop your expertise on the strategic and operational issues of the financial functions and business leaders in order to create value for them through a consultative approach
  • You will understand the customer ecosystem (third party providers, software solutions used) to identify business opportunities
  • You will collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Strategic Partnerships by providing customer feedback to drive product innovation
  • You will work closely with a dedicated team of Customer Success Managers ensuring the achievement of all key metrics related to customer growth, retention and Spendesk product usage growth
  • You will maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and progress using CRM software
Requirements :
  • 4 years of professional experience in sales or account management: strong track record of navigating within mid-market organisations
  • Commercial mindset : strong sales instincts and track record hitting and exceeding quota, as well as proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Organization & portfolio management : strong organizational skills and disciplined in daily activity planning & prioritizing. Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying process
  • Ability to develop senior-level relationships quickly and effectively & experience presenting to senior managers and the C-level executives
  • Customer relationship & business partnership: take an active interest in understanding their customer context and pains to position oneself as a business consultant
  • Great Communicator : excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German is a big plus!
