Overview My client, a large Lighting manufacturer, is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their team in the South West region. The ideal candidate will have experience in specification sales and project-based sales within the logistics and warehousing sector, specifically focused on cold stores, distribution centers, and manufacturing units.Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the designated region to promote and create demand for their products and servicesDevelop and execute strategic plans to grow the sales pipeline and meet company sales targets, leveraging their products and servicesCollaborate with internal teams to provide support and lighting solutions to key accounts, utilizing their products and servicesStay informed about industry trends and competitor activities and use this knowledge to position their products effectivelyProvide feedback from the market to the company for product development and improvement to enhance their offerings Qualifications Proven experience in specification sales and project-based sales, ideally with a background in lighting solutionsStrong understanding of the logistics and warehousing sector, with a focus on lighting requirements and solutionsExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of their products and servicesAbility to build and maintain strong customer relationships, leveraging knowledge of lighting requirementsSelf-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets, utilizing their product range effectivelyBachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field Day-to-day Engage with existing key accounts to assess their ongoing lighting requirements and provide their lighting solutionsIdentify and pursue opportunities to expand the sales pipeline for their lighting products and servicesCollaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities for their lighting solutionsParticipate in industry events and trade shows to network and promote their lighting products and servicesProvide regular reports and updates on sales activities and market insights related to their lighting solutions to the management team
