We are looking for a skilled and experienced CAD designer, with at least 5 years experience working with Solidworks and Swood, to join our friendly and welcoming team, with a view to staying for the long term and building a career with West & Reid.

We are a forward thinking company, with a great working atmosphere and camaraderie among staff. We believe that everyone should benefit from the success (they help to drive) in our company - as such we run a profit share scheme. We also have regular work days out, and monthly "family lunches" (lunches paid for by the company) among other perks. We do our utmost to make everyone feel valued, and to help our employees in their personal development. We are constantly looking to improve and evolve as a company, and have recently implemented 5s methodology across the company to improve the working environment for all.

  • experience of managing projects from start to finish, producing concept drawings, and technical production drawings
  • experience of WINNER would be beneficial

The Role:

  • your role will be to see a project through from initial conversations with clients, to the final finished product. Starting with the client's initial brief you will produce sketches and concept drawings, and then develop these with the client, producing detailed plans and elevations for sign off, and then producing full technical production drawings.
