Role overview
As a Laboratory Technician at our Regional Fulfilment Hub, you'll be at the forefront of our eyewear manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards and precisely match our customers' prescriptions. Your role will demand previous experience in a fast-paced production environment, where your sharp eye for detail and manual dexterity will be essential, due to the intricate nature of the work. Ideally, you'll bring expertise from an optical background, equipping you with the necessary skills to produce made-to-order prescription glasses. Operating our specialised warehouse equipment, you'll meticulously maintain and calibrate the tools, guarantee the consistent production of high-quality eyewear, tailored to our customers' unique needs. Your passion for customer service will support our ambition to See More and Be More for our customers, and we'll support you to continuously learn and grow with Vision Express. Who is the perfect candidate?- Have a background in fast-paced production, preferably in optics, for an understanding of prescriptions and eyewear specifications
- Keen eye for detail and excellent manual skills
- Skilled in operating and maintaining specialised manufacturing equipment
- Collaborative, adaptable, and customer-focused for high-quality outcomes
- Work as a team to meet our Regional Fulfilment Hub targets, as well as your personal daily KPIs, to ensure we're providing the best service and support for our customers and store colleagues
