Laboratory / QC Technician
Permanent – Full-time
Monday – Thursday – 08:00 am – 17:00 pm & Friday – 07:00 am – 15:45 pm
Salary is dependent on experience
We are currently recruiting for a Laboratory/QC Technician to join our client based in Hungerford.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work within a team following established procedures for sample testing using relevant laboratory equipment.
- Preparation of standard solutions and formulations in a wet laboratory environment.
- General laboratory organisation such as maintaining laboratory records, labelling, and storing samples.
- Maintaining lab tidiness and organisation.
- Adhere to, and actively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment within a lab.
- Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- General laboratory housekeeping.
Qualifications/ Key skills:
- Minimum A Level qualified in a Chemistry related discipline.
- Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- IT competent.
- Excellent level of spoken and written English.
Desirable but not essential:
- Work experience within a laboratory environment.
- Sage 200 knowledge.
