Job title: Laboratory Technician
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Contract: 3-month FTC (Possibility for further extension)
Salary: £12.56 p/h
SRG are looking for a laboratory technician to join a national food and beverage chain at their headquarters in High Wycombe. As a lab technician, you would be responsible for hygiene and safety testing, sample preparation and machine preparation.
This role would be perfect for someone with any lab experience, industrial or academia, especially if you have experience with food service or production previously.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Hygiene and safety testing of raw materials and finished products.
- Sample preparation.
- Loading prepared samples into testing machines.
- Assisting in collating, interpreting, and reporting data from product hygiene test.
- Contribute to general laboratory maintenance, helping to ensure good laboratory practice is maintained and workspace is kept clean and hygienic.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a laboratory environment, preferably food science, but not essential.
- Solid IT and Microsoft office competency.
- Background in food service, production or retail would be advantageous.
