Job Description
An award winning developer is actively seeking a Site Manager to manage the landscaping package valued around the £5 million mark. The works involved include new drainage, concrete paths and garden maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of site works.
- Ensure compliance and H&S are in place and adhered to.
- Report project performance to Director as required
- Manage the environmental requirements of the projects
- Responsible for the project cost control.
- Liaise with clients to arrange works and attend any pre-start meetings with the corresponding Consultant or Director.
- Prepare site paperwork such as permits to dig, RAMS, check sheets, spray records etc.
- Liaise with Project Manager when ordering plant, machinery and haulage for waste as required
- Manage plant operators and labourers as necessary to ensure projects are properly resourced to complete on time and on budget.
- Supervise all works on site, ensuring high standards of work are met.
Requirements
- Construction/landscape industry qualifications are beneficial.
- CSCS card / SSSTS
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Managing the landscaping specialist contractor
- Overseeing the whole package which will include deep drainage
