We are looking for an experienced and multi-talented Lead Artist with the ability to conceive, create and lead the team in creating innovative experiences via artistic visuals for AAA titles. Proven experience in generating a diverse range of styles, technical expertise with current gen' technology and / or illustration skills are certainly of benefit.
Requirements
- At least 4+ years of experience in console development with at least 2 shipped titles and one as a Lead Artist
- Effective visual and verbal communication skills when directing internal or external teams or individuals
- Excellent resource management and judgement whilst assigning artists of varying skill sets to the numerous projects in the studio
- Comfortable liaising with and presenting to clients in an authoritative and professional manner
- A self motivated team-leader who is outgoing, friendly, gregarious with attention to detail and a passion for delivering the best possible game experience
- Autonomous in the respect of managing deadlines & budgets, with excellent time management skills
- Experience of managing art teams effectively and in a timely fashion
- 2-3 years experience developing and implementing solid art production pathways
- The ability to find creative solutions when troubleshooting and assessing risks
- A good understanding of cutting edge artistic techniques and tools and the ability to implement them into current practical practices
