We are hiring Lead, Business Analyst At UK Location

Mandatory Criteria :

  • 20+ years of experience of working in areas such as Pre-Sales/ Business Consulting, Bid Management & Contracts, Requirement Engineering, Solution Blueprinting and Delivery in Telecom/ IoT/ Utilities domains
  • Min 5 years of experience of working as Lead BA plus Demand Manager in project like Smart Metering (must be covering all 3 key utilities .i.e. Electricity, Gas and Water) in UK
  • Must have experience of working on large scale Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) program (esp.in Telecom M&A scenarios in UK)
  • Solid understanding of Telecom BSS domain (must have contributed to Telecom Industry forums like TMFORUM)
  • Experience of working in multi-cloud Smart IoT Solutions, Certifications in Cloud Technologies (AWS, GCP etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, in engaging critical project sponsors, business stakeholders, subject matter experts and business users.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a team of business analysts to deliver high-quality business requirements and functional / non-functional specifications for the project
  • Liaise with stakeholders from various departments, vendors and external agencies to understand and document the business needs, challenges and opportunities related to the project
  • Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment and feasibility studies to evaluate the current state and propose solutions that align with the business objectives and strategic vision
  • Define and validate the scope, objectives, deliverables and acceptance criteria and ensure they are communicated and agreed upon by all stakeholders
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, surveys and other techniques to elicit, analyse, validate and prioritize the business requirements and functional specifications
  • Create and maintain clear and concise documentation such as Requirement documents (BRDs/ FSDs),use cases, user stories, process maps, data models, test cases and traceability matrices
  • Review and provide feedback on the technical design documents and system specifications prepared by the development team to ensure they meet the business requirements and functional specifications
  • Support the testing team in developing test plans, test scenarios and test cases and assist in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of the delivered solution
  • Provide training, guidance and support to the end users on the project and processes and resolve any issues or queries that may arise
  • Monitor and report on the progress, issues, risks and dependencies of the projects and escalate them as appropriate to the project manager and senior management
  • Manage relationships with technical vendors and third-party service providers. Evaluate vendor capabilities, support contracts negotiation and ensure vendor deliverables meet requirements and performance standards
  • Should have excellent planning skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Project, to lead the end-to-end product development process
  • Strong experience in working across Waterfall and Agile scrum development methodologies.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, best practices and regulatory changes related to Smart Utilities/ IoT / Telecom/ AI domain
