LEAD CREDIT MODELLING DATA ANALYST
UP TO £74,000
Multiple locations across the UK
This company is looking for a leading analyst who specialises in credit risk modelling data. You will join a cutting-edge team, and will be leading highly skilled analysts and process controllers.
THE COMPANY
This company is leading bank who are aiming to modernise the bank’s credit risk data capability. The bank offers a comprehensive range of banking solutions, including personal finance, mortgages, insurance, and business banking.
THE ROLE
You will be doing the following daily:
- Conducting thorough qualitative and quantitative analyses to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Taking charge of governance and control activities, including meticulous tracking of deliverables, drafting comprehensive meeting minutes, and providing detailed reports on process and control environment, while also managing initiatives to address control deficiencies.
- Playing a leadership role in ensuring the delivery of regulatory-compliant data, essential for robust credit modelling, thereby supporting accurate risk assessment and decision-making processes.
- Driving trans-formative change initiatives aimed at optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of Credit Insight and analytical outputs, fostering continuous improvement and innovation within the organisation.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous banking or financial services experience.
- Experience in risk systems, methodologies, and processes in a retail or wholesale bank environment.
- Strong numerate degree from a Russel group university.
- Strong SAS or Python experience.
- Daily coding experience, ideally Python and SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
