Job Description
This opportunity will see you joining a well-known and large retailer as their new in-house Graphic Designer. Their current model sees them outsourcing design to a range of agency partners and they are not eager to bring this in-house.
Reporting to the Marketing Director and working with the wider marketing team this role will see you working on a variation of design whilst also overseeing their Design Agency.
They offer Hybrid working from home 2 days per week and have their head office based in Enfield.
This role is best suited to a Lead Designer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity that aligns that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in design across various platforms, including online and print materials.
- Create eye-catching graphics for social media, website banners, email campaigns, and other online channels.
- Design promotional materials, packaging, and signage for physical stores.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to design attractive and informative packaging and work with external agencies to complete this,
- Design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and posters for promotional events and campaigns.
- Generate visually appealing content for advertisements both online and offline.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and web development, to ensure cohesive design integration.
- Incorporate feedback from various stakeholders to refine and improve designs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to bring innovative and fresh ideas to the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a retail
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
