We are currently looking for a Lead IT Project Manager

The Lead IT Project Manager is a key role for MM Flowers during an exciting time of change, transformation, and enablement of future business critical projects. The role will focus on the delivery of significant technology focused projects, and the continual development of the project delivery capabilities across the business.

Working closely with the IT Team and business stakeholders, the Lead IT Project Manager will manage the IT project portfolio to deliver business needs in alignment with the wider strategy. You will ensure the appropriate internal and 3rd party resources are available for critical projects and manage delivery to achieve project success.

This is a huge opportunity to utilise your previous experience to champion our project management capabilities and successfully deliver business transformation.

Primary Objectives of the role

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of business and IT driven projects including the delivery of business transformation, IT Infrastructure, business application enhancements and business critical technology platforms as we focus on the delivery of a 3-year business strategy.
  • Own the Digital Transformation Steering Group
  • Experience of building, and leading, a project management function in a fast-paced environment and a track record of delivering projects on-time and on-budget through effective portfolio management.
  • Full life cycle ERP Implementation experience and a proven track record of delivery.
  • Expertise and experience in manging the implementation cloud-based technology solutions and core infrastructure projects.
  • A strong track record in the successful project management of significant business change projects.
  • Exceptional technical project management skills and the ability to apply different methodologies as required,
  • Experience in Manufacturing / FMCG with workstreams including core technology platform set-up, integration and execution (ERP / WMS)
  • Expertise in managing business process transformation and change management workstreams.
  • Strong track record of applying project management methodologies to deliver business critical technology projects.
  • Lead technology project delivery within a fast-paced business, medium sized organisations.
  • Vendor management and the ability to manage suppliers in the delivery of technology solutions.
  • Ability to communicate project and programme status, scope changes, milestone achievement, misses and implications to Stakeholders (both internal and external) and management ensuring "no surprises" running and delivery of all projects.
  • Project Management certifications
  • Experience of both Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologies
