Job Description
Working with a next generation organisation within Electric Vehicles, my client is seeking a capable Lead engineer to join their mission to decarbonise the global transport chain. You will be working with various engineering teams across R&D to deliver projects from concept to production. You shall also be directly responsible for the quality of the products, optimizing the manufacturing process throughout all aspects of the project.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Degree: Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or equivalent
- Experience: 5+ years in Manufacturing Engineering
- Skills: Design for Manufacture, 3D CAD, detailed drawing reviews, coordinating with outside suppliers, ERP / PLM
- Manufacturing Processes: Casting, Moulding, Fabrication, Machining, Assembly
In return, you shall receive benefits including 30 days’ holiday, sabbatical opportunities after 3 years of service, employee share options, etc. The client is also offering a salary circa £65,000 per annum and requires site-based work most of the time in Surrey.
