We currently have an exciting opportunity for a an experienced Addictions nurse to join a well established team as a Lead Nurse based in Reading.

About the role:
Lead the implementation of integrated pathways for service users requiring treatment for addiction-related health needs.
Ensure the effectiveness of the service's clinical model, aligning with policy and national guidance.
Develop and maintain immunisation and vaccination schemes to combat blood-borne viruses and other infectious diseases.
Oversee staffing levels for all programmes to meet contractual requirements consistently.
Foster a culture of continuous professional development within the nursing team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Registered with the NMC with a current PIN- Essential
Significant experience in health/social care or similar fields.
Experience managing teams in clinical services and substance misuse- Essential
In-depth knowledge of clinical interventions, UK Drug Strategy, and social policy reforms.
Familiarity with treatment models, harm minimization interventions, and regulatory frameworks.
