Preston - Hybrid
£70,000 - £80,000 + uncapped incentive scheme + 22 days annual leave + company benefits
Are you a skilled Lead PHP Developer looking to take a lead role in an extremely well established Global Distributor of IT equipment, for a company that pride themselves on their industry leading infrastructure?

On offer is a unique opportunity for a Senior PHP Developer to take a lead role and play a pivotal part in the continued success of a well established, globally trading and environmentally conscious organisation guided by employee driven values.
In this role, the successful Senior PHP Developer will be the subject matter expert for the company on the PHP built website, and will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the development and migration of the current eCommerce site to Magento 2.
This role would suit a Senior PHP Developer with experience developing complex eCommerce sites who loves autonomy and responsibility, that is also able to take ownership of leading a team.
The Role
Implementing and overseeing the development and migration of the current eCommerce site to Magento 2.
Provide technical advice on designing and developing front-end and back-end web architecture.
Analyse customer behaviour, web traffic metrics and monitor competitor websites.
The Person
Excellent PHP knowledge/Magento knowledge
Experience in agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
experience in leading complex eCommerce projects
