You’ll own the end-to-end design process, including discovery, complex problem solving,

developing concepts, UX/UI and delivery.

You’ll love speaking with customers to understand their jobs, their motivations, their challenges

and the environment to help my client design impactful products.

You’ll be prototyping ideas to quickly assess viability, and design the details of interactions,

iterating on feedback from the wider team, and customers.

You’ll be working closely with my clients product manager, head of engineering, and their CEO, who has a background in user experience design. You’ll also be managing the other member of my clients product design team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to get started, or has just started their journey into

management. You’ll be working in a hybrid capacity, with a minimum of 2 days in the office.

Key responsibilities

● Use your full range of product design skills to discover, design and deliver well crafted

software that helps keep people safe

● Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept ideation and wireframing to mockups

and prototypes

● Lead and mentor the product design team (currently 1 other designer), fostering a culture of

quality, creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement

● Help prioritise the roadmap to ensure we are consistently delivering high impact product to

customers

● Host workshops, conduct user research and feedback sessions with the team and

customers

● Work closely with the dev team as they ship and build to ensure design consistency and

quality

● Supporting the marketing team create collateral for events, the website etc

About you

● You have a portfolio of well-crafted, impactful work in B2B SaaS that solves real problems

for real people

● Highly skilled in UX, interaction and visual design

● You’ll have worked in a senior or lead product designer capacity

● Proficient in Figma with experience creating prototypes

● Able to present your work clearly, explaining your thinking and decisions

● Able to conduct effective research quickly, and without being overly academic (The Mom Test)

● Delivery and execution is important to you. Design specs are detailed and dev teams love

you for it

● A desire to move in to/continue in a management role, to mentor teammates, nurture and

grow the team
