You will get the chance to work on a range of our high-profile projects in the stadia sector and high-end retail.

What our new Environmental Quality Manager will do...

  • Quality assurance & control and developing pre-construction.
  • Delivery of quality through construction stage through to O&M manuals.
  • Working alongside our quality department.
  • Continue to develop, enhance, and promote the existing culture of continuous improvement within Portview.
  • Continue to develop and implement the company’s Quality, Environmental, Business Continuity and Information Security Strategy.
  • Promote awareness to all employees on the Standards and other existing policies and procedures of the company through trainings and presentations.
  • Regularly visit our sites through UK and Ireland and Compile objective comprehensive reports by conducting audits and workplace inspections (UK and Ireland) and liaise with external auditors during rec-certifications.
  • Audit and evaluate different areas and processes of the company.
  • Perform conclusive quality inspections on projects before client handover, implementing necessary remedial actions to ensure readiness for handover.

Who would we love to work with us:

  • Possess a construction-related degree.
  • Showcase prior experience in a Quality Manager role of a comparable nature.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of quality management best practices applicable to large, intricate, contract-driven organisations.
  • Precise reporting of site visits and meticulous verification of tasks, followed by thorough sign-off, are integral responsibilities in this role, especially before entering the snagging process.
  • Possess a proficient knowledge of ISO9001 and associated operational systems.
  • Demonstrate assertiveness to challenge construction teams and subcontractors when adherence to high standards is lacking.
  • Display effective communication skills, adept at engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excel in organizational proficiency with keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of and exposure to of ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 45001

This role will require regular travel to our sites across the UK and Ireland. As such we can only accept applications from individuals who have experience of working within the construction industry and working on construction sites.
