In this role, you will be partof a multi-disciplinary team of designers, user researchers, product and engineerscreating products and services for our customers.This role requires an extensive understanding of UI design for digital products andservices with a focus on B2B. A balanced understanding of interaction, motion, colour,iconography, typography, design system and visual design is a must.Currently, our team is still small - meaning you’ll be able to have a big impact on theoverall direction and shape the future together with our customers, users, and teammembers.Responsibilities include:● Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team of researchers, productdesigners and engineers to create new B2B customer-focused products andservices● Lead and advise on how to ensure the delivery of visual UI designs areimplemented effectively through product design to engineering build todeployment● Lead and create high-quality visual UI design outcomes like mood boards,concepts, UI layouts, design system components and style guides● Proactively contribute to Design Systems work collaborating with productdesigners and engineers● Partner with leads and stakeholders to identify and evolve visual designdirections● Ensure deliverables are consistent with the brand and Design Systems● Understand wider design application including brand, experience andimplementation● Base decisions on solid visual design principles and customer data● Having a deep understanding of the business drivers behind the product goals● Champion accessibility and usability through visual, interface and interactiondesign● Provide accurate estimation of tasks and help with prioritisation● Deliver visual UI design outcomes to stakeholders in a timely manner andefficient execution.● Work closely with other disciplines to understand and provide feedback todesign context● Present and communicate work and recommendations to the widerorganisation● Manage stakeholders and proactively solve issues affecting visual UI designquality● Support best practices and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness● Uphold design consistency and excellence of visual UI design deliverablesRequirements● Strong hands on experience in roles such as Senior or Lead UI designer, acrossmultiple devices and platforms (experience with B2B applications is a plus)● Strong portfolio of deep understanding of visual UI design fundamentals (colour,iconography, typography, structure and visual hierarchy) and solid application ofuser interface (usability, comprehension, and accessibility)● Experience and examples of interaction design (aesthetics, animations, andtransitions)● Experienced in creating UI design using input from user research, businessrequirements, technology and brand● Experience of designing and/or implementing solutions for products/ services aswell as production knowledge of the delivery process● Experience in creating visual design language and UI for Design Systems,component libraries, style guides, and documentation● Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies and theirapplication and relevance to digital experiences● Proven understanding of B2B design● Solid communication and interpersonal skills● Ability to actively listen, hear and understand what is said and not said, and withnuanced comprehension of meaning and intent● Comfortable developing and sustaining effective and cooperative workingrelationships with peers, managers and other internal or external stakeholders● Ability to influence others and provide thought leadership on user centereddesign.● Flexibility / adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team andstakeholder consensus)● Expert knowledge of modern design systems, prototyping software and designtools (we use Figma)● Prototyping skills across a variety of mediums and needs: on paper, in Principle,and other digital methods● A passion for helping create an environment where people can do their best work● Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functionalenvironment● Experience in the Atlassian suite of software (Jira & Confluence) is desirable● Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent professionalexperience If this sounds like an interesting opportunity to you, let’s chat!
