Job Role: Service Manager, Learning disabilities
Location: Supported living scheme, Kingstanding, Erdington
Salary: £30000-£32000
Hours of work: Full time with shared on call
An exciting service manager opportunity has become available with a leading provider of supported living and residential care services. This role requires the successful manager to oversee the day-to-day management of vibrant, flat scheme. Your new service offers care and support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs/behaviours. You will support 28 adults in total who have varying care requirements.


Employed on a full-time basis, with the requirement to share the on call, you will work with an established staff team. You will lead from the front, embrace the promotion of choice and independence and inspire your team to deliver the best quality of care possible.
Other areas of responsibility will include:
* Staff recruitment, training and supervisions
* Rota management
* Care and support planning
* Finance and budgeting
* Attending external training and management meetings
* Shared on call
* Business growth and development
To be considered for this exciting role, you must meet the following essential requirements:
' Hold the level 3 in health and social care as a minimum. Ideally you will also hold a relevant care management qualification. Support will be provided for you to secure a relevant, professional qualification
' Demonstrate over 18 months experience in a middle management role
' Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
' Be flexible to cover the shared-on call rota
