The company is seeking a Contracts Manager to join the team and help manage commercial agreements.

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a variety of commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and liabilities. While prior experience in the sports sector is not required, a passion for sports and technology is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, partnership agreements, and licensing agreements.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and liabilities in contracts.
  • Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters.
  • Maintain an organised system of physical and digital records for all contracts.
  • Work closely with legal, finance, sales, and other departments to ensure contracts align with business objectives and requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in contract management, preferably in a technology or data-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and liabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A passion for sports and an interest in the sports tech/data industry.
