Legal Counsel
London Office
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Legal Counsel to join our amazing Legal team to advise on all aspects of legal and compliance. This is a varied and exciting role in a small and supportive team.
What will you be doing?
- Providing pragmatic legal advice to all areas of the company, including:
- reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- protecting LADbible’s brand and IP
- advising on data protection and privacy
- ensuring compliance with a corporate governance framework, including board approvals
- implementing and managing company compliance policies and procedures including anti-bribery and ESG
- Legal and regulatory risk management
- Developing and delivering legal training to wider team
What do you need to have done before?
- You will need to be a qualified solicitor (1 – 2 years’ PQE) with a current practising certificate
- Commercial / IP lawyer
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – you will be working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to draft clearly and concisely
- Experience working with or in a media, digital or e-commerce business would be a plus
