Are you a qualified solicitor with previous commercial experience and interested in a new challenge? I am currently recruiting a legal counsel for this leading global law firm to work in their large in-house legal function. This role would suit a solicitor NQ to 3 year's with previous corporate and/or commercial experience.
The Client
Our client is a leading global technology company with a strong growth history and future growth strategy. They are a listed company and are listed on the LSE and are renowned for their first class software products that they sell into their multinational client base. Their in-house legal function is based across Belfast and Scotland and this role could be based in either location (it is largely a remote role) and would involve working as part of this talented in-house legal team.
The Role
You will be required to provide general commercial and corporate support across the wider global business which will include assisting with any M & A transactions, there will also be a large amount of negotiation and drafting large technical and non-technical commercial contracts. You will also be required to assist with the protection of the IP portfolio and advise on data privacy.
The Person
Ideally you will meet the following criteria
- Qualified Solicitor - NQ to 3 years PQE
- Some previous corporate and/or commercial experience, this can be a seat in a traineeship
- Strong technical legal drafting skills
- Corporate transactional knowledge
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels throughout an organisation
