Heriot Brown is partnered with a reputable Telecommunications business looking for a Lawyer to join their Product in-house legal team.
As part of the wider Consumer division, this individual will report into a Principal Lawyer and advise on all things product concerning FCA-regulated products, including consumer credit products, insurance and subscriptions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support on complex consumer credit and financial services projects, providing detailed legal advice.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on FCA-regulated products and maintain internal relationships across various teams including marketing, digital, and legal.
- Ensure the Consumer division's compliance with laws and regulations, delivering clear, risk-based advice for decision-making.
- Draft legal documents for consumer credit and payment services; provide legal training focusing on new regulations.
- Advise on contractual matters and keep leadership informed on legal risks and opportunities; work closely within the Product Legal team.
Requirements:
- 0-3 PQE
- Must: Experience working in Financial Services
- Preferred: Experience working with the Consumer Credit Act, Financial Services and Markets Act
- Advantageous: Telecoms knowledge
Salary Range: Between £60-75k + bonus, market-leading benefits. Hybrid working.
